The Story of Santi Kruger
I am back with the story of another author from South Africa. Say “Hi” to Santi Kruger. She is a homemaker as well as an entrepreneur from Stilfontein North West, South Africa. As an author myself, I became acquainted with Santi recently and found out that writing and poetry have always been her passion! It is amazing to see such passionate writers/artists across the world and I hope more people from my own country (India)give me opportunities to speak about them.
She had the habit of crafting bedtime for her younger sisters when younger. Another similarity between the author of this post and Santi Kruger is the choice of reading/writing genres; which are thriller, suspense, and horror.
Two of Santi’s most popular books are “Butterflies” and “Vlinders”. I am very really impressed with “Butterflies” which is also named “Vlinders” in the Afrikaans language. It is the story about a serial killer, obsessed with butterflies. For fans of romance, there is also a bit of romance in the book. It was published in 2018 by Mecs Publishing and it seems Santi is very grateful to Edna Cane (Founder of Mecs Publishing), who is an author herself.

Did you know that two of Santi Kruger’s books; namely “Butterflies” (Vlinders) and “Masquerade” are going to be adapted for movies??
It is also interesting to know that Santi is currently involved in a charity project, where several writers and poets’ stories and poems are summarized in one volume named Traces of Grace. The book is meant to raise awareness of poverty, addiction and abuse. Proceeds from its sales have been vowed to be fight the same menaces.
It is amazing to know that she also had a book meant for children coming up which will also be published by Mecs Publishing. On the personal front, Santi writes for The Mecs online magazine . I will surely catch a copy of that :-)
